PYRITE

COLOUR: Shiny, dirty golden and metallic.

HISTORY: Pyrite was valued by the native Indian tribes of the Americas as a healing stone of magic. They would polish it into mirrors for gazing and divination. This stone was also extremely popular in England during the Victorian Age for its use in jewellery.

MEANING: Within its gleaming beauty is a stone of hidden fire, it can be sparked to life by swiping it against another stone or metal. Pyrite is an Earth Element stone yet it also resonates with Fire Energy, symbolising the warmth and everlasting presence of the sun. Pyrite is here to bring wealth to the wearer, creating ease for money to flow to you. It is a masculine stone by nature, and is also a stone of action, vitality and will.
